Not sure how anyone uses a clover mini without one of these swivel bases. Have these at my stores, speeds up the payment process.

Works great for my machine. Average size roll. The rolls DO NOT have end of roll warning strips as advertised though. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice.

Works great though a little pricey for what it is.

Great product, my 20+ employees love it! I can’t believe Clover didn’t think of this from the start, really silly considering how often customers need to enter their PIN #s for their debit cards! It’s got a nearly flawless design and swivels smoothly, being able to screw the clover mini into the base and the base into my handmade wooden stands made it really sturdy too. My employees & I all agree that it’s too bad they couldn’t figure out a way to snake the cord through the middle of the base to avoid excess cable slack on the sides, that’s the only reason it doesn’t get 5 full stars.

It works well, but there’s a few changes I think it needs.

1)I’d really like a way for the power cord to drop through the center (into a hole I can drill into my counter). Customers constantly yank on the power cord thinking there’s a stylus at the end of it. Try as I might, I haven’t yet found a good way to hide the cord while still leaving enough slack to rotate the terminal. Now that I think about it, even sending along a modified power cord that’s designed to go down instead of at a right angle, and having a space to send it under the stand (between the stand and the counter) with instructions to leave enough so the unit can still rotate would work well, I think.

2)It wobbles (where it swivels), seems like something that could be tightened up a bit.

3)It ‘clicks’ into place at 0 and 180 degrees, which is nice (and it wobbles less at those spots), however, my terminal isn’t able to be mounted in a place where it’s directly between the cashier and customer. The best I could do was mount it so it either clicks into place for the cashier OR the customer. It would be nice if there were a few clicks as it rotated instead of just those two. Maybe every 30 or 45 degrees. But if you can imagine a cashier and customer standing opposite each other and this unit being about a foot off to the side, you can see why just 0 and 180 doesn’t work very well.

Overall I like it and I know Clover is a new company, so hopefully some of these things will be improved as this becomes more popular. No matter what, at least I don’t have to worry about it falling.

works well, but there’s a few changes I think it needs.
